first of all, to take the cube root think about it as similar to square roots in the sense that you are looking for numbers multiplied by themselves three times. For more help check out the MathTV site under the math links page. When there go to the Algebra > Roots and Radicals > Definitions and Properties and watch the videos dealing with cubic roots. We'll talk about it more tomorrow briefly.
